No doubt, the Turkey-Syria earthquake was huge and the devastation simply over the top.   At last count, approximately 8,000 people are reported to have been killed and about 5,000 buildings collapsed between the two countries. Food has become a prime target for thieves, and that should deeply alarm all of us.  Remember when shoplifting was a minor nuisance for most retailers in the United States.  Today is so much different.   Highly organized gangs of thieves are systematically looting stores all over the country, and this is costing retailers billions upon billions of dollars.  Authorities call it “organized retail crime”, but it really is complete and utter lawlessness.  When you have large groups of people storming retail stores all over the nation on a regular basis, you know you’re in a major crisis. There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences (Luke 21:11).  How many millions have to die before people start to realize what is happening?  Since the time of Jesus, humanity has been warned that pestilence will play an integral role in bible prophecy which will results in the lost of millions.
